Please follow the following instructions carefully in preparing and submitting your work.  Failure to do so will invalidate your submission.

Preparation of abstract

The text should be in Arial size 12 font  with 1.5 line spacing

It must be arranged in 3 text boxes with the title in the top box, the authors and institution in the second box (with the presenting author underlined) and the abstract in the third box. This can easily be achieved with a word processor by inserting a table of one column and three rows. The text can then be typed or pasted into the table.

There is no restriction on the number of words or the size of each box so long as the completed document is printable on a single A4 page. Illustrations, graphs and diagrams can be included. However, it should be noted that the proceedings are printed in black and white.

Please remember to indicate on the submitted abstract the prize category for which it is to be considered.

Submission Guidelines

  • Two copies of the abstract should be prepared. The identity of the institution should NOT be included in the abstract text of either copy.
  • The first abstract should have the authors’ names and institution omitted and will be used for the anonymous scoring.
  • The second abstract should be complete with all details - as this is the one used by the printers when recording the proceedings.  Include the email address of the presenting author for ease of communication.
  • make it clear whether the abstract is for the Registrar, junuor or poster prize or a combination of 2
  • The second abstract must include the email address of the presenting author, for correspondence
  • When naming the file, make it clear what the work is within the file name
