Abstract Guidelines

Ivor Lewis Prize

Candidates are invited to submit abstracts on any clinical surgery topic, with a maximum length of 250 words. Selected abstracts will be shortlisted for oral presentation at the joint meeting of the Section of Surgery and the Welsh Surgical Society, taking place on 28-29 November 2024. A prize will be awarded for the best presentation.

Prize: £250

Open to:  Registrars (or SAS equivalents) and Clinical Research Fellows

Deadline: 11:59pm on Sunday 22 September 2024.

Richard Johnson  Prize

Candidates are invited to submit abstracts on any clinical surgery topic, with a maximum length of 250 words. Selected abstracts will be shortlisted for oral presentation at the joint meeting of the Section of Surgery and the Welsh Surgical Society, taking place on 28-29 November 2024. A prize will be awarded for the best presentation.

Prize: £250

Open to:  Core trainees(or SAS equivalents), foundation doctors and medical students

Deadline: 11:59pm on Sunday 22 September 2024.
